You worked with a friend for several years, divided the proceeds as agreed and ended the partnership without a dispute. Then a chart interpretation tells you that malefic stars in your Friends Palace make partnership failure inevitable. Are you supposed to believe the trouble is still waiting?
A completed, successful collaboration should not be recast as a disaster that has yet to happen. Moving a failed claim into the future does not validate it.
What actually happened in the partnership?
Disagreeing about a project is different from not being paid. Leaving without handing over the work is different again. Calling all three a difficult friendship hides the events you are trying to understand.
Imagine two designers who argued over creative decisions but delivered the work and shared the payment as agreed. Their disagreements do not establish that the partnership failed. Equally, a friendly relationship does not establish that every future project will settle smoothly. Compare a reading with the whole outcome, not only the details that appear to fit.
Counting stars does not calculate a probability
A statement such as two malefic stars double the risk, while three guarantee failure, sounds precise. The star count alone does not supply a statistical basis for it. Nor can a placement establish that a real partner is dishonest or secretly resentful.
If a reading raises a concern, it should explain what it means and how it reached that interpretation. Naming a malefic star without discussing the other placements or the relevant chart layer is not enough to conclude that you must always work alone.
Check the opposite palace
Within one twelve-palace layer, the Friends Palace, also called the Servants Palace, sits opposite the Siblings Palace. The Wealth Palace sits opposite the Wellbeing Palace. An explanation that calls Wealth the opposite of Friends has the layout wrong.
A discussion of flying transformations needs a separate explanation: the originating palace stem, the star receiving the transformation and the palace where it lands. A transformation reaching a palace is not the same as that palace occupying the opposite position.
Also distinguish the natal Friends Palace from the Friends Palace in a ten-year or annual cycle. They may occupy different positions. Combining symbols from several layers and counting them as one placement obscures the reading.
Bring one completed collaboration to your chart: its year, your respective responsibilities and how it ended. Check the palace labels and compare the account with what happened. Zi Wei Dou Shu can be discussed as a traditional interpretive practice; it does not provide evidence that a friend will betray you.
